Do you know Polish Easter Traditions?
Let’s take a look on what’s so special about Polish Easter.

The most famous one is the Easter basket.  On Saturday before the Easter Sunday we bring a basket with food to a church to be blessed by the priest. The most important thing we put inside the basket are the painted eggs, which symbolize a new life. We usually put there also a slice of bread, a pinch of salt and a bit of ham. Another tradition concerns the Monday after Easter. This day boys throw water over girls, so if you are a girl, be careful! It is an old tradition with pagan origins and it is popular also in Ukraine.
Happy Easter!
